As a Moscow private guide last time I decided to make a 10 top list of the most beautiful churches of Moscow that I would recommend to all my guests to visit. The only one exception I have made in this list was St. Basil’s Cathedral. I believe this is one of my favorite place in Moscow and even in all Russia. And I have already the full story about this cathedral here. So this time I have a list of other beautiful churches in Moscow that you can visit during your trip to Moscow. The previous part of the list is here. This time I will tell the story about: Krutitsy Metochion, Nativity Church at Putinki, Cathedral of the Holy Mandylion (Andronikov Monastery), Church of the Intercession at Fili, Our Lady of Vladimir Church at Bykovo.

Today I would like to share with you my own Moscow tour for the guests that I usually do. Usually these guests don’t have a lot of time in Moscow and such requests I get from layover travelers. Let me share with you my own experience what you can see and visit in Moscow during the Layover Moscow Tour – 4-6 hours.
Winter is coming. Or actually is already in Moscow. The winter in Moscow for guide service is the low season. But I really like this season especially when we have heavy snow all around and all the buildings and parks are covered with the snow and you can find yourself in some kind of fairy-land. Moscow winter is very special. And there are so many places you can go to find out the beauty of Moscow. This time I decided to make a list of the most beautiful churches of Moscow that you can visit during your trip to Russia. Some of them can be visited during our tours and some of them you can visited on your own. In this part let us see: Novodevichy Convent (as known as New Maden Convent), Marfo-Mariinskiy Convent, Donskoy Monastery, Kolomenskoe and St. George’s Cathedral in Zamoskvorechiye.
